| Hi Jen - Our Sunday school calendar at Group starts the first Sunday school for Fall on the Sunday after Labor Day. However, we work with all kinds of churches who modify the schedule...so while we have many churches that will start on September 13th, some church won't start until later in September (and some don't start until October). So if you choose to start on the Wednesday after Labor Day, you'd be pretty much right on our schedule but don't worry if you need to start later. You won't be alone! Angela DeWispelaere

Help! I have a question about the lesson for this Sunday, September 27. The lesson is about Adam and Eve's sin. One activity in the lesson is to have the kids do a race across the room in which they have to walk very fast, but not run. The questions to ask are: How did it feel to not be allowed to run? What did you think as you were walking as fast as you could? How is that like what happened to Adam and Eve? I have to "confess", I have no clue as to the answer to that last question. So how can I use it with the kids? Does anyone know what the intention was here? Thanks!

I'm guessing that although kids are told to "not run" they will either end up running (breaking the rules) or really, REALLY tempted to want to run! Just as Adam and Eve were told by God to "not eat" of only one tree in the Garden... they were tempted to eat and ended up eating (breaking the rules).
