Hi everyone. We're starting a little late as our Rally Sunday isn't until next week. At our curriculum meeting, we decided to try Buzz for a quarter and get feedback. I am the SS superintendent at a small country church. We tried out the groupings today since several of my teachers were gone for Labor Day. The first-second grade teacher told me after class that it just wouldn't work. There was too big of an age difference between the kids. I'm at a total loss! Our kits are coming on Tuesday. Will I have to get another teacher at the last minute? Does anyone have a suggestion for me?

We currently have 2-3 grades paired together and 4-6 paired together. Could the fourth graders be placed with the 5-6 program? I haven't gotten my materials yet, but if they have grade levels printed on them, I don't want to offend anyone. Help please!

The last few years we have had three groupings - K-1, 2-3, and 4-5. It worked great most of the time. The only issue with us was when one group would have a lot of kids, and another very few. I'm not using Buzz for Sunday morning, but I see no problem with the groupings, as long as you have the right amount of leaders for the number of kids in each group.
