| I'm helping out our Youth Minister, I'm in Children's ministry. Does anyone have guidelines for Chaperones for Youth ministry that they use? Ninety percent of my Youth don't have parents that attend the Church with them. We have some mothers who don't get along. They both complain about the "drama" in their youth's life, but they don't realize that they are causing more "drama" themselves. I know parents should help chaperone outings, but I have an overnight girls trip coming up & the mothers are causing a great deal of trouble. My Board of Christian Education (which the youth dept is under) needs to set up a chaperone policy now because of this and I need some other people opinions. I don't mind if parents go on local outings, but have a problem with them going on an overnight trip.
