Check out the Halloween decorations at Michaels.  They have a plastic chain that will be the "anchor" chain for our ship.  Nice big links and because it is plastic will be very lightweight to move around. Very reasonable also, especially if you use one of your 40% off coupons.  I believe they are 6' long and are $5.99.  You can try to wait until after Halloween specials but then you might not be guaranteed to get one.

Yes thanks so much for the info. I also have picked up a few fish nets at the dollar store. They have them in various colors as well.

If you have a Dollar General Store near you, they also have fake chain. Ours was pretty well stocked as of yesterday, so I'm holding out until the after Halloween price reductions.
