I believe it's "Let's Go!"

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." ~Matthew 28:19-20

I believe it's "Let's Go!"

Can you back that up with a reference Cassie? I know that Group's first VBS curriculum was Vacation Bible Ship so they probably used "Ahoy!" already but that would still be appropriate for High Seas Expedition and it's been long enough for it to cycle through again. When I think of "Let's Go!", I think more along the lines of a land adventure like in the serengeti or through the jungle, not a voyage on the sea.

God Bless,

Josh

We chose "Let's go!" because it ties with going on an adventure through God's Word. Honestly, "ahoy" felt cheesy and young--and in ship lingo was just used to get attention (like saying "Hey, there!") When you hear it together, it makes more sense..."God's Word is surprising" (Let's go!)--kind of like a response...let's head into God's Word because it's surprising.
