Got music questions, ideas, or comments? This topic is for you! Whether it is looking for words to songs, requesting new products (your feedback is what lead to the introduction of the Sing-Along Songs DVDs!), or voting on PowerPoint versus overhead transparencies, add your input here.

I would love to see overheads offered again. In my small church, we are a long way from being able to use powerpoint (no laptop computer and no projector...no money for those things right now). The words in the leader book have the actions next to them and take some work to get into overhead shape. Even if the overheads are available separate from the kit as a set or as a Word or adobe document that we could print our own from that would be great.

Thanks, Dawn, for your feedback. The intent was that the CD would include a text file of the words -- but somehow it got left off of the fall disk. It will be there for winter!

I am attaching the Word document for the fall lyrics here. Hope that helps!

Please keep sharing your ideas and comments. And let us know if we can be of service in any other way. God bless you and your ministry!

We would love to have our children perform Genesis 1:1 during worship.  We do not use DVD's or Power Point presentations during worship.  Is the sheet music available for this song and perhaps others on the FaithWeaver DVD's?  Our music teacher would like to be able to play songs on the piano or guitar.  Thank you.  Susan May

I'm so glad you asked!  My kids love the way the worship video was done for Power Lab.  We've used VBS songs for years, but we'd just use the CD.  Now that the music video is so good, we don't feel the awkwardness that we felt in the past with what we called the "leader's video".  Can you tell me if there are good worship DVDs available through Group?  I have seen some for sale, like Shine, but I wondered if they were suitable to teach the leaders, or are they dimensional enough to be used for worship?  I also saw the Hands On Curriculum DVD's, but again, I wondered if they were great.  I don't mean to sound critical, and I don't mind learning and leading, but with great video footage and the lyrics onscreen, it sure takes a lot less work.  Please give me your thoughts.

Thanks!

I am curious if you all offer accappella worship or split track. I am on a committee for our Curriculum at our church. We bought the Faithweaver series and start it next week. We are all very excited about the change. The only concern someone had was the music since we are Church of Christ we do not use mechanically produced music in church, only our voices.

Thanks for making great products.

We have begun posting instrumental mp3 tracks for most of our songs on the online store at Group.com.  Sometimes the store can be difficult to navigate, so here's a link that will take you to the music downloads listing.

From there, click on the product line and quarter you're interested in.  Hope that helps!

We've starting using FaithWeaver this quarter for a Weekday night kids program and I am the one responsible for our large assembly music time. I would love to be able to use the FaithWeaver songs but played on guitar instead of playing the CD tracks. Unfortunately, the books include chords for only parts of the songs. Is there a place I can look to get full chord sheets for all the songs included on the CD?

Thanks!
David.

I would love to see the words to the songs allot bigger.  The small poster is hard for a group of kids to read.  I would not mind a dvd that shows the kids doing hand motions for the sunday school music.  Get the kids more excited about the music.

God bless

Doreen

Is there any way to get sheet music for Bible Max songs and Kid's Own Worship songs? I am planning on having the kids sing some of these in our worship service this year, but I need piano accompaniment for that venue. They sing with the dvd during Sunday School and Children's Worship. Even chord sheets would be helpful.
