I literally JUST went through this with our financial board. We took a 10 hour trip this past summer for camp for five days. The transportation cost for the bus we rented was 5100.00 plus a hotel room for the driver. In addition, we have taken countless other trips and retreats with rental vans, and at $100 a day, it can add up quickly when you factor in gasoline and insurance.

I think you are better off springing for the bus if you foresee any growth in your future. Just keep in mind, you will need a CDL licensed driver each time you drive it.

So what happened?  Did you buy a van or bus?
