I just wanted to get ideas on what you all do with your middle school girls. Right now we are low in that age group. Much of it is the fact that we just don't have a lot in that age group period right now (whereas in the other groups we do). However, I wanted to see what ideas you all had in making a smaller group feel just as welcome and involved and to invite non-Christian friends to. The fact that we have such a hyperactive middle school boy group does not help us as it tends to scare away some of the girls.

I know this post is quite general in nature but any thoughts are appreciated.

Middle school girls LOVE sleep overs. This isn't something you can pull off with guys or high school girls even. Get your female leaders together to host a fun sleepover night and go do all the things that the girls love to do anyway. (Prank call the male leaders, toilet paper the worship leader's house, veg out on junk food, tell stories, give each other make overs, etc.)

If the female leaders really get into this, it presents an excellent opportunity for bonding. Wink

Just be prepared to sleep with one eye open.
