Yeah, you too are a little far Rebecca...
Though last year someone drove up from Vista with a Uhaul to collect our decorations! (Though I can't really blame them, we had some awesome decorations including a huge mission that we were just giving away!)

| I guess we should post our dates too. Ours is June 25-29. And we have a special service on July 1 so decorations will be up until then. I wouldn't mind driving (or sending my fiance=) to pick up decorations if anyone has things we could use on our stage. Last year I had people drive from Orange County to borrow decorations. We paint life-size Bible buddies on plywood each year and a huge backdrop for the stage. Our main artist can't help out much this year due to her pregnancy so we don't have much more planned beyond that.

| Your plywood buddies might be worth a drive from OC if you are giving them away.... The other problem with a long drive and big items is being sure everything can fit or having to get someone else that is willing to make a drive as well to have more than one van. Are you offering your buddies? How big are they? What town are you in? Our VBS is July 9-13th. And thanks about the mission. I have some very creative people who come up with this stuff. We did the mission...but see the cactus? Can you believe they were given to us from an 8th grade graduation...they were blue seaweed but we transformed them to cactus! (And then gave them away along with the mission)

| I am in Camarillo and yes, the buddies will be available after July 1. Only thing is I'm pretty much gone for the month of July (wedding and honeymoon, I know I'm crazy to be getting married a week after VBS) but if it's set up in advance I can give you another staff member to contact and arrange a pick up. If anyone is having their VBS before ours we would be more than happy to take decorations off your hands. =)

| Our AR is over spring break (April 9-13). Our backdrop is rented from Grosh but we're making a large gate w/sign, hay bales, large Bible Buddies on foamcore, fence railings etc. We have one church that wants to borrow in June, but we'll loan out to others as well. I'm in Newbury Park (Ventura County) near Brooke (hey girlfriend!) Brooke - we're borrowing tons of stuff (large wagon, branding irons, wagon wheels, milk cans etc) from Casa Mexicano in Newbury Park - you might contact them.
