I intermixed Surprise Station and Crafts. I chose which one I thought would go over well with my group and did that. We also created the snack for the kids but did not make it a rotating site where the kids prepared the snack. As to an earlier post, my fifth and sixth graders loved the craft time. I did tweak it to make the craft more older kid friendly--I happened to have kids who liked to create so giving them paint pens, stickers, markers etc. to decorate anything worked well for them.

we do the lesson, crafts (projects), games, & snacks every week--we do a surprise station occasionally--when we do, we have the snack in with one of the stations--depending on what the snack is--or sometimes change the snack to something simple if it's more complicated, so that they can eat it along with the surprise station--or I've had the snacks in with the craft, if it's a short simple one.

MY QUESTION: We are doing Fall 09--week 2 tonite--I'm doing the project...can't locate my book...I think it is in with recently-finished VBS stuff! Tonite has something to do with marbles & gumballs--and the fact that God gives us things...ANYONE HAVE ANY HELP FOR ME??
Thanks if you do! Please email me at wbbtmb@juno.com
