I just used the Girls Night Out version of Chocolate Boutique as an appreciate night for my children's ministry staff (and to jumpstart a new small group I am starting for them).  We had so much fun together!  I've read so many times that it is important for teams to "play" together and fellowship.  This was a perfect way to accomplish that.  They have already asked what other themes are available.  Thanks Group!

How fun! Did you know we have three more Girls Night Out Party Kits coming out in June?? They are:

* The Bloomery (in case you don't need the whole retreat, do this flower-themed party)

* Tickled Pink (focuses on laughter and joy--and has a tie-in for breast cancer recovery if you want to use it in that way)

* Cozy Kitchen (a cooking party where you'll make comfort foods, wear your fuzzy slippers, and chat!)

These will all be out the first week of June--just in time for summer parties!

Oh, those sound like lots of fun!  The Tickled Pink one would be great for our church as we have several survivors here!

These sound great - how much preparation is needed in advance of the retreat?

The Girls Night Out version of Chocoloate Boutique(CB) was very simple to plan.  It is only designed to last 2 hours unlike the full retreat version of CB.  I would estimate I spent about 8 hours total for all planning?  It wasn't all in one day of course but it was fairly simple.

The retreat leader guide breaks down the planning into manageable steps--so you do a little each week leading up to the retreat. We have gotten feedback saying it was so easy that leaders felt guilty--like they weren't doing enough. And I know several churches have had teens lead sessions--so it's easy enough for them to do--you don't have to be an expert.

You just answered a prayer for me! I was looking for a way to do something for the ladies who have come before me as a way to show how much I appreciate them. This would be a great way to do that!
