It's about 5" tall and I got it at a local craft chain . . . something very similar to Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or A.C. Moore, if you're familiar with those. I think they were .79 apiece.

Hi Amy,
Your spice bottle looks great. Could you explain a little more about it, like what spices you used, how much of each spice to purchase?
This is the first year we're doing a HLA, so I don't know what Group suggested for spice shops in the past. I've read postings of several forums and seen some good ideas there, but I haven't gotten anything to gel in my mind yet.
I was thinking of doing a b'samin box. I found small plastic spherical bottles at Hobby Lobby for $0.67. From what I've read, the spices for this box are bay leaves, cloves, and cinnamon. Are there other spices to work with?
Any suggestions for how to decorate the container, assuming we go with the b'samin idea rather than the layered spice bottle? (I'm not inherently crafty ...)
